Liberty advises the management team of Guestline on its acquisition by the Access Group
Liberty is delighted to announce that it has advised Guestline on its acquisition by the Access Group, a portfolio company of HgCapital, TA Associates and GIC from The Riverside Company.
Based in the UK, Guestline is a software provider for the hospitality sector, delivering a distribution, hotel property management and guest experience system.
Riverside, which operates in the smaller end of the mid-market, invested in Guestline in March 2016. The portfolio company said the GP helped drive expansion into Europe, as well as fuel product innovation into payments and the digitalisation of the guest experience.
During the investment period, Guestline’s revenue and earnings more than doubled, supported by the 2022 bolt-on acquisition of Newbridge, a cloud-native electronic point-of-sale software platform for bars, restaurants and hotels.
Founded in 1991, Access is an enterprise resource planning business, providing a range of horizontal and industry-specific software services to SME and mid-market customers in Australia, Ireland and the UK. Hg initially invested in Access in 2018, providing further capital in 2020 and 2022.
