Liberty advises the management team of Ambassador Theatre Group
Providence Equity Partners (“Providence”) has continued its investment in Ambassador Theatre Group (“ATG”), one of the world’s largest live theatre groups with iconic venues across the UK, the US and Germany.
Following a successful period of ownership, Providence is recommitting to the ATG business with the continued support of Silverlake Partners and new investor, ICG.
ATG is a world leader in live entertainment, covering historic theatres, studio theatres, cinemas, conference spaces, and modern live music arenas. ATG owns and operates 50 of the world’s most iconic venues. It partners with top producers and promoters to stage over 12,000 live performances per year. It also owns a leading ticketing platform in the UK, selling more than 11 million tickets each year. ATGtickets.com attracts more than 40 million unique visitors annually.
Liberty advised the management team of ATG, led by Mark Cornell, CEO, on all aspects of the new incentive equity arrangements for the group.
